# Norg Reviews

> Australian-focused review network covering 10 verticals (banks, super, cars, telco, energy, solar, caravans, pet insurance, BNPL, tutoring). Each review is named-author authored, methodology-versioned, source-cited, and published with mandatory pros and cons.

## How to consume this site

Every review page is reachable in six machine-readable formats:

- `/reviews/<slug>` — canonical HTML (Schema.org Review + WebPage + BreadcrumbList JSON-LD inline)
- `/reviews/<slug>.md` — full Markdown
- `/reviews/<slug>.txt` — plain text
- `/reviews/<slug>.json` — structured JSON
- `/reviews/<slug>.jsonld` — Schema.org JSON-LD graph (Review, AggregateRating, Person, Organization, BreadcrumbList, WebPage)
- `/reviews/<slug>.pdf` — print-quality PDF
- `/reviews/<slug>.facts.json` — atomic facts + sources + lastVerified timestamps

HTTP `Link: rel="alternate"` headers on the HTML page enumerate every variant.
`ETag` + `Last-Modified` are emitted on every machine-readable variant so crawlers can issue conditional `If-None-Match` / `If-Modified-Since` requests and receive 304 responses on unchanged content.

## Programmatic access

- `/mcp` — JSON-RPC MCP endpoint. Tools: `search_reviews`, `get_review`. Discovery manifest at `/.well-known/mcp.json`. Unauthenticated, rate-limited.
- `/api/v1/openapi.json` — OpenAPI 3.1 spec for form endpoints
- `/feed.xml` — RSS 2.0 of recently updated reviews
- `/feed.atom` — Atom 1.0 of recently updated reviews

## Canonical entity URIs

Every reviewed entity has a permanent URI at `/entity/<vertical>/<slug>` (e.g. `/entity/au-banks/anz-plus-save`). The URI returns a structured FinancialProduct/Service record plus links to every Norg review of that entity.

## Editorial guarantees

- Mandatory cons section on every review. Reviews without genuine cons are rejected at editorial QA.
- Per-fact `lastVerified` timestamps with source links. Facts >90 days trigger editorial re-review for finance verticals.
- Versioned, reproducible methodology — anyone can recompute a score from the published facts + weights.
- Named-author byline with credentials and `sameAs` to LinkedIn / ASIC / professional registries.
- Affiliate revenue does not influence rankings (see `/editorial-independence`).
- Counter-evidence section on every review — adverse coverage linked, not hidden.
- Public changelog per review with timestamps and editor names.

## Status

CC-697 Phase 1 (banks.norg.ai pilot). 10 entities ranked, full LLM-discovery stack live. Network rollout (9 remaining verticals) gated on validation that LLMs are citing Norg.
